This Phonics Learning Bundle will allow the students to develop responsibility for their learning. I would use this bundle to aid in literacy centers. We are currently learning how to blend letter sounds to read words. In addition, they are learning that reading and writing go hand-in-hand. This item would have such a beautiful home in our new classroom. The students will work collaboratively and sometimes independently during center time. The item would be used for in-school instruction. Some of the lessons may include finding letters and writing the letter you find. I would also create a center where they have to say the sight word and then write it down. This item will continue to be useful throughout the year, as our sight word list gets longer and they learn more about digraph/blended sounds.
