My students need calculators! Physical science requires mathematical calculations and we only have ONE calculator that is shared in class. This calculator is exhausted, needless to say. This calculator is shared, passed around, and almost got lost once! We need a class set! This way, each student has their own calculator they can use on labs, projects, and tests. This will facilitate calculations done in class. If students make accurate calculations, this will help students with accurate graphing, data analysis, and scientific conclusions. We have an emphasis in analyzing patterns in data in our classroom. In order to do this, calculators are essential in creating that data.
