I am always documenting the work of my students with a camera. In order to make their work accessible to all the students and their families, I need to be able to print out the photos it in a way that helps the students remember the details of their exquisite work. Right now I have a black and white printer that does not capture the important details of their work. For example, currently, the students in my class are beginning to blend primary colors to make secondary colors. A black and white photo will not accurately represent their discoveries and learning. If I had a color printer, the students would be able to look at the photo and meaningfully describe their work.
