My students will continue working everyday with their collaborative teams to solve problems and enhance their math knowledge. My students love writing on the 7 whiteboards in the classroom, using colorful markers, to show their thinking about math problems. I will be able to keep them going throughout the school year with the supplies requested through this project! I have already seen great results with students previously complaining of math anxiety. While in the beginning of the school year many of my students would be fearful to approach a story problem, now they all confidently find their space, markers, and begin working. They feel this way of work is fun and provides them a worry free opportunity to show their thinking.
