We are requesting games and activities that allow my students to work together with other classmates to enhance their conversational skills! A high percentage of my students are English Language Learners. I chose most of the items on my list because they are activities that will encourage conversation between my students. I also chose games that will enhance our math and literacy curriculum like Zingo and Uno. The puzzles and magnetic tiles will encourage my students to grow their problem solving strategies while working cooperatively with other classmates. Outdoor recess time is a perfect opportunity for students to run, play and get their energy out. During the colder months, our recess time has to be a little more structured and these games and activities will help provide opportunities for students to use their imagination while practicing their social skills.
