We are co-teachers for the Academically and Intellectually Gifted/Go Grow Program at AG Cox Middle School in Winterville, NC serving 6th, 7th & 8th grade students in elective curriculum classes. We are awarded with the opportunity to work with the brightest students in our school. These students are focused, dedicated, and soak up any learning opportunities provided. We desire these learning opportunities for all students, so we are extending to reach B and C students that do not demonstrate their true intelligence because they are in a learning environment that does not stimulate them to achieve academically. We strongly feel these students need a chance to grow and grasp their academic potential. We want to give this underrepresented population a chance to GO GROW in a non traditional, hands-on learning environment where they are encouraged to explore their areas of interest and be challenged to succeed.
