Imagine a classroom where students take control over their own learning. Imagine a classroom where students receive feedback on homework and classwork before ever having to pass in a single piece of paper. Imagine a classroom where students interact with not just their table mates, but with everyone in the room within the first 10 minutes of class. Imagine a classroom where the teacher can identify who needs a little extra help, and who's ready to soar, before the students ever step foot into homeroom. Imagine a classroom that uses technology in order to free up more time for hands-on activities. My students need Chromebooks in order to transform our classroom into the classroom of the future! These Chromebooks will help me to have a classroom where students are actively learning at their own pace. They will also allow me to figure out quickly who needs remediation and who is ready to take on the next challenge. The days of one-size-fits-all 50 minute lectures and note taking are long gone. The days of classes filled with technology and more free time to work with hands on materials are on the horizon. It's time to reach for the future! This technology will allow us to do that.
