The students are going to learn about the SCIENCE of electronics by building a Microbit Rover. They will build the Rover using the technology provided within the Miro:bit Kit. During the process of building the Rover, they will use Electrical & Mechanical Engineering to learn about the Rover's form and function. This will push them to use their MATH to build and create a code that will move the rover through various obstacles. This Microbit Rover Project is the ultimate resource to incorporate STEM. The kit comes with all the resources you need to establish a complete project lesson plan. After the completion of the Rover, the students will then design modifications that will either improve or assist the Rover in its function. The 3D filament will be used for this process. They will use their creativity to design, create, and print parts, obstacles, and other modifications for the Rover.
