We use Interactive Student Notebooks in our Science classes. These materials will allow my students to make Interactive Science Notebooks. Interactive Science Notebooks are a tool that allows students to deeply engage the material they are learning. Notes, vocabulary, graphs, reflections and foldables all are a part of the Notebook. Colored pencils, scissors and glue allow the addition of all sorts of material into the notebooks. Students take ownership of their notebooks and also their learning because the notebook becomes a personalized account of what they have learned. Students are more organized when using Interactive Notebooks and are more likely to reflect on their learning. Everything that is done in the science class becomes part of the notebook, including laboratory activities. These materials will make a difference in my student's learning by helping them to be more organized and reflective.
