This year we received a new curriculum in the Language Arts department. It is designed to be implemented with a completely independent component where students work online to hand in assignments. We love the idea behind this but need the technology for our students to reach their full potential. Technology is the wave of the future, and that future is sitting in my classroom now. These tablets will help enhance our learning and teach the students independence and the importance of working in a timely manner. We recognize the many diverse learners in the room and feel these tablets will help even those struggling academically.
