Every day students are spending time reading in the classroom. We feel it is important to incorporate reading into every subject. In first grade, students are very busy. We realize we need to have access to books that can hold the student's attention. We have found this can happen when we are getting books of interest and the appropriate length. When all of these are combined as well as giving ample time to read throughout the day, we are setting a love for learning at a young age. Oh the places we can go in first grade this year! And with the integration of reading into all subjects we hope to do that.

About my class
