If given a choice between a hard chair or a wobbly chair, I know the majority of my reading wizards would choose the wobbly one. We actually discussed the perfect reading spot in a lesson earlier this year. Every single student chose soft, wobbly seating versus hard, solid seating! Thus began my search for the best way to accommodate them so they could have the ideal environment to read and learn in. I know they will be thrilled to use these chairs everyday we work to our fullest potential and then some. Making these students comfortable and at ease will help strengthen their connection to class work. Several of my students have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. Studies I have read support the use of flexible seating for those children. With your donation we can help better these children's overall school experience and learn the crucial foundational skill of reading.
