Theses books will allow the students to learn how to read in small, guided reading groups. Studies show that effective teachers provide reading instruction on the student's level. Not all students are the same. I plan on using these materials daily to ensure my students receive hands on learning time with text. It is important for students to be exposed to a variety of texts to ensure success. Believe me, these precious books will get a work out! When a teacher has leveled books they can pin point the skills the students need. It is important to provide students will a challenge so they will grow academically.
