Learning to read is a challenge for everyone, but especially for struggling readers who are already behind their peers academically. These room partitions will help divide a classroom used by 4 Literacy teachers into areas for quiet small group work (guided reading) and one-on-one work while muffling the sound of other groups of students. Research shows that it is not a 'natural' process for the brain to learn how to read. Reading requires 2 simultaneous processes: decoding and comprehension. Help me give my struggling readers a fighting chance to gain the invaluable life skill of reading so they can continue to advance academically!
