In a low socioeconomic environment it is important that we provide our students the opportunities to technology the same as students in other districts have. Just like any other activity, sport, musical instrument, the more you practice the better you get. If I only have a classroom set of calculators students cannot take the home and use them as I have 6 or 7 students a day sharing one calculator. With these calculators issued to our students not only will they be able to practice using this calculator at home, but my students next year and in the future will also benefit from these calculators. In addition, with COVID on the rise again, I do not like the idea of having students touch the same calculators other students have used.

About my class
