Tablets will enhance my small group language arts, math, science and social studies lessons in countless ways! Some of the ways I plan to incorporate them are to show examples of experiments, model the writing process, take the students on virtual field trips and tours, use fun and engaging applications to review for tests and quizzes, reading and discussing current events whole group, surrounding students with images of the lesson being studied, and allow them to listen to and echo or choral read stories. I plan to use tablets to create a listening and reading station to my daily literacy rotations. Adding tablets to our classroom, especially our language arts station, will enhance my students' level of engagement and reading comprehension and fluency!
