My students are eager to learn state of the art digital drawing, painting and photo editing techniques as employed by professional artists, illustrators, graphic designers and photographers. They are currently working with laptop computers and I feel that the next step is to introduce them to the tools used by professionals in the creative and media fields. While I have 27 students per class and they would have to share one IPAD, they could at least experience the tools as used by professionals and realize the creative possibilities. My hope is to further spark their interest in career fields that they might not have been aware of or realized that they have a talent for. I have had students arrive in my class without any knowledge of graphic design, photography or computer graphics and have discovered a passion for these subjects as well as new career possibilities.My students have the talent and intelligence to be future leaders in these fields and I would love to expand on their experience and knowledge with the addition of the limitless creative possibilities of this wonderful drawing tool.
