Our PBIS program entails "catching kids being good" and reinforcing that behavior with praise, positive reinforcement and a token economy. Students can earn "paw prints" when they are caught following the expectations. When they earn 10 paw prints, they can trade in for a reward. One of the rewards entails children "shopping" at the school store. So, we would like to add to our collection of items to purchase with their paw prints. Other prizes are fun activities during the school day. The PBIS team thought that with the purchase of a parachute, children could earn this as a reward as well.

About my class
