The projector screen, speakers and classroom rug will allow my students to have a designated space to sit during audio/visual related instructions. Working with diverse learners, all teaching experiences need to be hands on and active, providing the students with clipboards will encourage exploration while they learn. Diverse learners in a low income community deserve a classroom that embraces their differences. I have several students who, due to developmental delays, struggle with holding a pencil, having access to weighted pencils and other accommodating materials is a necessity to these students. Students who require structure need an environment that ensures just that. The addition of technology included meeting area would give my students the space to practice their listening skills while working through the challenges that come from learning.
