My students need hands-on activities to help spark interest in STEM. This includes early Learning Kits, Science Stations, 23 STEM Journals, Magnet Kit and Engineering and House Building Centers. The STEM activities will be a great tool to incorporate STEM into our daily learning routine. Research has proven children learn best through play. By using these activities daily students will be exposed to daily hands on sensory play combined with curriculum instruction that changes as their skills advance. The STEM activities create an ability to problem solve and think critically. When children are inspired to play they take ownership of their learning and feel empowered! The combination of real life connection and hands on play gives students an experience that they would not normally be exposed to from direct teacher instruction.
