It's time to properly equip our outdated kitchens so that students can have the tools necessary to learn how to take care of themselves when they are out on their own. My goal is to equip every kitchen with a complete set of measuring spoons, measuring cups, liquid measuring cups and mixing bowls. What a huge difference this would make in the flow of the class! No more searching high and low for the right measuring cup or having to borrow from the kitchen next door. Learning to cook can be intimidating enough without the correct equipment. Let's help these high schoolers learn these life skills with the proper tools at their disposal.

About my class
