In my classroom we currently have one iPad. We use it daily for listening center as well as a reading station that students use throughout the day for Imagine Learning and Raz-Kids. It is also used for handwriting. I have several students forming letters incorrectly. The iPad makes it easier to practice the correct formation of letters. With only one iPad, I am limited to what can be done with my 22 students on daily basis. With the addition of 2 more iPads and cases, my students will have more individualized time to practice academic skills. During math, iPads will be used to help my lower academic students practice their math facts and challenge my higher academic students to explore their place value and addition with regrouping knowledge. These iPads open up doors to differentiate student learning throughout the day and provide more students with access to iPads on a regular basis.
