We are firm believers that students need to be fully engaged at all times. Our students are not like students of the past, and they need to be encouraged and pushed daily. Our classroom is not a model of a traditional classroom either. We do not have individual desks, but instead we have "community tables." We do a lot of stations, hands-on activities, and we strive to incorporate the value of hard work and team building. One area we are lacking in is our technology department. I'm hoping that we can utilize these iPads to help grow as 21st century learners. There are SO many math apps/programs that we can use on the iPads that will allow our students to build their fact fluency, review concepts that we need to spiral back in, and it will do it in a FUN way!
