Shut the Box is an amazing game that increases students' computational fluency while raising their engagement level. Shut the Box challenges students to break sums down into all of their addends, and then identify which ones will work in the game. When there are no more combinations to equal the amount just thrown on the dice, that is your score. Low score wins. This game can be played by one person or multiple players.
