My students struggle with independent play and spacial skills. Also, being a Title 1 school, my students are already struggling to catch up with STEAM related skills. I am asking for additional Lego supplies so students can continue to use them within the BME Media Center Makerspace. Legos are shown to help with STEAM skills, spatial skills and help students engage in independent play. Legos help foster creativity in all ages of students. My students have been fully engaged in the BME Media Center Makerspace this school year. I am hoping to provide more activities for the next school year.
