My students LOVE to giggle and groove while reading. When I read to them, their eyes light up and they can't wait to see what book I will read that day. They have an awesome sense of humor and love books that have a good joke and make them giggle. Sometimes they get bored of the same books, but they absolutely love Piggie and Elephant books and Pete the Cat ( and so do I!) I truly enjoy seeing them catch on to the catchy phrases and have them read a long with me. Their laugh at the end of the books always puts a smile on my face and theirs. The non fiction readers will help us when we learn all the text features of non fiction books.
