The chance to stand up and still work will help students that have a hard time sitting still. To be asked to sit still from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm with only small breaks and a 30 minute lunch is too much for most kids. Changing the way they work can help keep them focused on learning. My students are not the typical sit still, take notes, and stay focused learners. They need to move, be able to stand, and still be allowed to learn. The old ways are not always the best way for all students. We need to find new, better ways for our students to stay focused and learn!

About my class
