We are returning to school for the first time in seven months! Our Special Education classroom should be safe and inviting now more than ever! Due to COVID-19 we need to keep our doors and windows open for safety, but our Texas sized mosquitos think our classroom is open to them as well! Hanging planters and hooks enable us to fill our classroom with mosquito repelling plants to keep our room safe and comfortable! Flexible seating options give students a choice and enable them to access specialized learning in a pleasant position! Alternative lighting makes our room warm and inviting! Mood lighting helps regulate emotions, creates a cozy environment, and encourages productivity!
