Children need more time outside! We are trying to incorporate as much time as possible to being in nature! We are making our outside area at school another "classroom" for us to learn. Children learn as they play and being out in nature encourages children's creativity. There is more space and freedom for children to explore and to take charge of their learning. Most children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. We need sturdy, wooden blocks and musical instruments that will hold up well, outside. Preschoolers love to create and build things. A bamboo building set would encourage new creations and ideas. Young children use music to learn. Children should be able to explore music through singing, dancing, moving, and playing instruments! These wooden instruments would be used all the time!
