This Printhead will allow us to bring our Printer back to life. A large format printer is an essential tool for a graphic design lab, but not residing in our classroom during COVID dried up the printhead and we no longer have funds to replace it. Students will print contest entries, their packaging design for when they create and market their own inventions and posters for school events. Without the use of a large format printer, my students will not be able to show their potential with pride and limit their portfolios. A large format printer is considered standard equipment for a graphic design program. It allows them to learn industry-standard skills for college and career. Without access, they are left without the hands-on skills enabling them to get to the next level.
