My group of first-graders is very excited to utilize technology and both their reading and math center times. Unfortunately, the hand-me-down Chromebooks we have do not work about 70% of the time. This has gotten so frustrating for my kids that they choose not to be on computers anymore. This shocks and saddens me. So much of my small group time is being taken up by trying to fix the computers for them because they love technology. This has been so disappointing because there are so many amazing programs and websites out there that get that get the kids excited about learning and give them good practice, but we, unfortunately,​ can’t explore any of them. Anything you are willing to donate will help us get 5 easy to use iPads and protective cases for our classroom and we will greatly appreciate it!
