This will be the start of a keyboard lab at our school. The ultimate goal will be to have a classroom of 12 keyboards, to supplement the music learning in our middle school general music classes and choir classes. Students would learn the basics of music reading at this level. This keyboard would be utilized in each of my classes! General music classes will use the keyboards to play simple melodies, learn the basics of harmony, and learn how to arrange and compose music! Choir classes will use the keyboards to learn the pitches and rhythms of their part for whatever song we are learning to perform! The keyboard lab would give them another level of learning that would challenge, excite, and extend their music education!
