One of our school’s beliefs is that our students learn best when actively engaged in authentic tasks. Nothing is more authentic than a student holding a book in their hands that they know they have chosen and that they can share with their parents and other family members. We are dedicated to the concept that all children should become life-long readers if they hope to be successful in the future! It is so important that children have lots of choices when they enter the Media Center. Nothing is more disheartening than hearing a student say, "There are no good books on my level!" These books will give our lower reading-level students dozens of wonderful choices that will keep them motivated and intrigued as they learn about the world around them. We need books that will meet our readers at their levels.
