My kiddoes are lovers of all things technology. This little group really enjoys working together on class projects and discovering innovative things online. They are fearless explorers and creative researchers who love group projects. My students love projects that allow them to collaborate with each other and share each other’s discoveries, thoughts and ideas. They can also be somewhat fierce competitors when need –be. They love exploring on sites such as Animal Atlas, Sid the Science Kid, and Wild Kratts just to name a few. However they tend to get frustrated with having to share 2 iPads among a group of six students during our Daily 5, math, and science rotations.If each of my six kiddoes in their group could have their own iPad this would allow them to be more successful in their researches and projects as well as assessments. I feel that having at least four more iPads will enhance my instruction and aid in facilitating a 21st Century learning environment for my 21st Century learners.
