In our classroom, we promote diversity and global education. We have groups that are named after the continents. I would like to add some flexible seating to these groups, but this would require the students to sit on/close to the floor. Our current floor is tile, and we would need to place rugs over this. I'd like to add some globally themed rugs into our flexible seating. The rugs I am hoping for would go underneath "Asia" and "Africa" respectively. In trying to maintain cultural appropriateness, I would like to have the seating style represent the continent. In "Asia," I would like to place the rug down with some floor cushions and a low table. In "Africa," I would like to place the rug down and place some Moroccan-style poofs on top for seating. These seating areas will promote group-work, student comfort, and help provide a global perspective to our classroom. Thank you for your consideration! #ISeeMe
