Technology is an extremely important aspect of every classroom in today's world. Virtual reality is one piece of technology that can transform a classroom. Through the world of virtual reality, students can explore parts of the world around them that are inaccessible to them. Imagine being able to explore the Great Barrier Reef without ever leaving your desk. Through virtual reality viewers, students can explore various ecosystems around the world, float through space while viewing the planets, and shrink down and see the organelles of a cell up close. Virtual reality viewers give students a chance to do things such as going on field trips without leaving classroom, allowing them to increase their knowledge and connections to the world around them.
