The use of our classroom library is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in parent reading. Using the workshop model in literacy, students come to the rug with self selected books for guided practice. The classroom library allows me to provide opportunities for inclusion, diversity, and acceptance. Promoting and providing diverse books encourages inclusion and acceptance. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their literacy skills, academic achievement, and their desire to read!.

About my class
