We are requesting two charcoal patio benches so students, staff, families, and friends can come sit in the memorial sanctuary to reflect, experience nature, and memorialize a loved one. Supplementally, the two ebony square planters will beautify the memorial sanctuary and students will maintain the plants weekly. Special needs students will show pride in their school and community while building self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-image. The memorial sanctuary project will provide students to be worthwhile contributors to the environment. A benefit of this besides the skills learned is that our students will become better stewards of the earth and good citizens.
