Researchers are finding that being sedentary for extended periods of time is not the best for our bodies or our brains! In addition to differentiating the curriculum for my students, I'm requesting active stools to cater to my students' physical needs while learning. These stools allow for students to move more freely while they are collaborating at our small group table. Every student deserves to succeed. It is my hope that these stools will allow for students to move as necessary while learning, and in turn, decrease inattentiveness throughout the day. If modifying the classroom environment can increase student learning, I'm all in!
