New microscopes will provide my students with the opportunity to see first hand the cells and organisms we are talking about in class. My students have showed an enthusiasm and excitement when it comes time for labs and opportunities for hands on learning and self exploration. By engaging students and allowing them to explore the answers to their own questions, they are able to take ownership and pride over their learning. A genuine interest for the sciences will open unique doors for my students' futures, as the STEM field provides a wide variety of careers my students can excel in.

About my class
