These new flexible seating options will help my students be able to think about which choice would be the best for them, and then use them to focus on their work. These seats will allow them to rock, fidget, and move, while also being accountable, and complete their work. Some flexible options are bands that go between the chair so they can fidget their legs, a wobble chair so they can rock forwards and backwards, and a lap desk so they can work while sitting on the ground. I am very excited to implement these in my classroom so my students can show accountability for their choices and their work.
