Our classroom is always busy! We know our brains are pattern seeking, so having a defined space for large group time helps the children transition smoothly to go sit down more quickly and easily. It also helps us learn about personal space, because each student will have their own spot to sit on. This rug is interactive, as the students can use the carpet tiles for letter matching, letter naming, letter sounds, vocabulary words, beginning sounds, simple words and many more activities, during small group time, and Interactive Literacy with the parents and children. This rug and the carpet tiles, will promote a comfortable place for the students to expand their learning space onto the floor.
