My students need 16 Snug Safe and Sound Deadening headphones so they can focus on their work without distractions during center time. Having noise-canceling headphones will enable my students to focus on their creative work during math and reading centers. Reading centers can get loud with students reading to each other, collaborating on their writing pieces, and working with the teacher. Our classroom is also joined by a curtain with the other third grade class and sometimes it doesn't keep out noise from the learning right next door. Our classroom can get noisy with all of the active learning going on, and it is distracting for students working independently. Students would also benefit from using these headphones during independent work time throughout the day, while diving into a book, or when taking a test. These headphones would help my students' concentration and let their creativity flow better. With less distractions, we can increase our learning and time on task. I'm looking forward to seeing my students happier and engaged in learning.
