My students need books for back to school reading adventures. Last October, our school and most of our school instructional supplies were destroyed due to the impact of Hurricane Matthew. School is quickly approaching and I like integrating literature with back to school activities. I picked some great titles that my students will absolutely love. I also included chapter books so students can enjoy literacy all year long. Second grade students usually begin reading chapter book by January. It is amazing to watch them grow academically in their literacy ability. These books will enhance my students' learning by providing them ample opportunity to escape into the wonderful world of reading!
