This year we are going to be exploring Computer Technology and Robotics. We are going to begin with coding. Dash and Dot will provide my students with the opportunity to learn coding in an engaging and hands-on way. They will use the Kindle Fire tablets to program their robots to complete tasks and participate in a little friendly competition. They will gain valuable problem solving skills as they learn the language of code. All STEM lessons will be created using the Next Generation Science Standards for Technology as well as incorporating standards from other content areas. With your help, my students will be able to learn valuable skills in collaboration, communication, writing, technology, math, etc. It is my goal to help prepare my students for college and beyond and to achieve their maximum potential. Thank you for your consideration.
