With the adoption of the new NGSS Science standards we need to become meteorologists for the year. We will be tracking weather patterns throughout the day and then graphing them throughout the year. We will place electronic thermometers around the campus to track the weather in different areas (shade, sun, classroom) and will be looking at how the weather changes during the day and in the different seasons. We will be using the iPad to track our data, create graphs and make videos of the students as meteorologists and we will be sharing these with the other classes. This is make the weather not only fun but will also get the students excited about the weather and will give them confidence to present in front of others. Read facts and interpret data.
