These materials will support my students by providing them with hands-on materials to practice the English language, the alphabet and necessary literacy skills to be successful readers and writers. These items will help provide different modes of learning, which will give opportunities for all learning styles. The play-dough is a great way to practice letter making without actually holding the pencil. Students can mold the dough into letter shapes or words. Using the magnetic letters on the white boards allows students to manipulate the letters to create rhyming words.They can also write on the boards and quickly erase letters to change the word into a new word. The headphones will allow for each child to learn through technology in their own private session without being distracted by others. These materials will be available to all students, everyday, to support their learning.
