This teacher believes these materials will greatly enhance the time the students remain seated to read or participate in group learning. Our floors are hard concrete and the rug and bench will provide a comfortable place to learn. The rug for whole group learning and stretching out with puzzles or books and the bench a great place to read to self or a friend. These materials can be used year after year. The bench also has some storage for books in small groups and would be great for parent volunteers to enjoy a space to share a book with the children.
