Our goal at OMMS is to raise enough money to purchase a Chromebook cart to share among the teachers on our team. These Chromebooks are not just another piece of technology. We will use them on a daily basis to provide rigorous, targeted, and exciting activities that will motivate students to actually WANT to learn! These Chromebooks will open new doors for learning, especially for our struggling students and overachievers. For students who struggle, there are engaging tools that we can use to meet them where they need the most help. And, for our gifted students who need to be challenged, they can access the Internet and online activities that will give them an avenue to explore their creativity. This will be especially useful in helping gifted students become self-directed learners.
