These materials will give my students a fun but challenging way to learn in small groups and literacy centers. My students need games and activities that focus on the alphabet, letter recognition, and sounds. Our students will use these materials to explore as they build sight words, word family words, and letters of the alphabet as well as sorting objects according to the first sound they hear as they say the name of the object. These activities will be used during Learning Center and small group times throughout the day. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, learning letters and sounds as they make words. Your generous donation to our project will improve our kindergarten classroom by building stronger, more fluent readers. It will provide our students a fun way to learn!
